The books arrived late in the evening, and it was raining, but they were well packaged, and survived their journey from the printers in Akron, Ohio, to College Station, Texas (and yes, our books are "Made in the USA.") A flurry of activity ensued as the twenty-five or so books that had been pre-ordered were labelled and delivered to the post office before 8 am this morning.
We want to thank all of you who believed in us, and to thank Olympia Sibley for the beautiful manuscript that she donated to the press, royalty-free, to get us started, instead of publishing elsewhere. We are grateful to Janet McCann for her advocacy of the manuscript, and her introduction to the collection, and to Edward Hirsch for his early, generous praise for the book in its manuscript form. We are grateful to Fr. Cassian Sibley for his help with layout, and for donating the art for the cover of the book. And we are grateful for the keen eyes and demanding editorial clarity provided by our editor and founder, James Cavin, without whom, none of this would have happened.
Now it's your turn. Buy our beautiful little book. See what makes us special. Keep us in business, so that we can bring you more good books like this one in the future.
